Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m a lifelong lover of books who discovered, somewhat unexpectedly, how much joy there is in helping kids find stories they genuinely connect with.

What began as volunteering for my kids’ elementary school book giveaway program has grown into a broader effort to foster a reading culture in local schools and throughout my community.

This site is my way of paying forward the creativity and generosity of the educators, librarians, parents, and fellow book lovers who inspired me along the way. Here, I share book recommendations, literacy ideas, and lessons learned from the projects I’ve tried in hopes they might help others build reading communities of their own.
