Mystery Book Drop No. 2

Another week, another Mystery Book Drop!

This week’s mystery books included:

The Cartoonists Club, by Raina Telgemeier (top left). This heartwarming graphic novel from a fan-favorite author follows a group of students who don’t always feel like they fit in — until they come together to create their own cartooning club. It’s a feel-good pick for creative kids, aspiring artists, and anyone still trying to find their people.

The Last Dragon from Mars, by Scott Reintgen (top right). This one received a lot of buzz during the Scholastic Book Fair. I’m always down for another dragon tale.

Outside, by Jennifer L. Holm (bottom left). This quick read absolutely floored me with a twist I never saw coming. While the story does involve the loss of one of the protagonist’s friends before the book begins, it’s ultimately a thoughtful, captivating story that keeps readers questioning what’s really going on.

Snoop, by Gordon Korman (bottom right). Gordon Korman books are consistently some of the most popular titles with many middle-grade readers.

Faces blurred for student privacy.
Two of the recipients were absent on giveaway day; I hope they loved the books!
