Where my Alan Gratz fans at?!

Thanks to everyone who shopped at the CKMS Book Fair earlier this year, these TWELVE Alan Gratz titles will soon be on the shelves at the CKMS Library!

Gratz is an extremely popular middle-grade author known for fast-paced, high-interest historical fiction. His books place fictional young protagonists in the middle of real events and settings, helping readers connect with history through stories that are suspenseful and deeply human.

He has a very devoted following — two of his books were among the most popular titles at the recent CKMS Book Tasting — and I’m so excited that CKMS students will have access to this collection.

Gratz also has a new book, Flight: A Story of Seeking Refuge, scheduled to be released in September 2026, so we’ll keep an eye out for that one too. But for now, I’m thrilled to get these books into students’ hands!
